Greetings Young At Hearts,
Our first Senior Adult/Young At Hearts’ luncheon was on Thursday, January 25, 2012. In spite of the rainey weather, we had a good attendance. God continues to bless our time together. Thanks to Linda Buchanan and Nancy Huffines for making the delicious cornbread. Thanks to everyone else who brought their delicious salads and desserts. Thanks to Gene Craig for setting up the sound system. Thanks to everyone who stayed and help clean up. We really appreciate the help. Hopefully, everyone completed the suggested survey of activities. We will compile the information, and at the next meeting, we will give you the results. We are looking forward to a wonderful Christ-filled year with you. So, let’s remember, what ever we do or say, we always want to bring honor and glory to the Lord.
On Tuesday, February 14, we will have our Valentine Luncheon in the Fellowship Hall at 12 Noon. We will decorate and prepare the meal. So, all you have to do is come and bring a guest with you. Bro. Danny Parris will be our guest speaker. If you have not signed-up, please do so ASAP. The sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board in the Lobby. The 2012 CALENDAR - Meeting and Activities, will be ready.
Up-coming event: Thursday, March 22, will be our monthly luncheon meeting. We will enjoy one of JR and Sandra Marr’s slide presentation trips.
Something to think about: “We need more than a new start, we need a new heat.”
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you. Ezekiel 35:26
Prayer Time: Please continue to pray daily for each member of the Pastor Search Committee. Please pray for Bro. Danny, our Interim Pastor. Please pray for our new Youth Minister, Amy Rassmusen. Let’s take the time to meet Amy and make her feel welcome. Pray for our Bus Ministry. Please don’t forget to pray for our nation and leaders. Please remember to pray for those in the hospital, for those who are ill, for those in the nursing homes, and for those who are homebound. Remember, as you are praying for us, we will be praying for you. In Christ’s Love, Harlace & Pat
