2017 Pampered & Prayers Tea Part Fashion Show

Romans 8:28, Ephesians 3:16-19, Matthew 19:26, John 14:27, Mathew 6:9-13, Philippians 4:8 these are favorite scripture of our Pampering & Prayers  Sisters in Christ: Laura Postell, Meredith Higdon, Kelley Richter, Susie Bryant, Dolly Rice.  Christmas gifts presented at our December meeting: Bibles with marked scripture, personal care bags and lunch-Thank you Ms. Dolly.  Nine of us met, traveled to Carolina Rest Homes taking Christian ornament, bananas, kleenex, soup and lotion.  We gave all the residents that wanted a hand lotion massage. One of the residents mentally challenged 94 year old could not wait to share with her family about Pampering & Prayers visit.  Presented her with a P & P pink tee and fruit bag for her birthday.   We left caregivers at both homes more bananas and soup and a personal care bag. Thank you video made at lunch was sent to Ms.Dolly in appreciation for all she does for us.  Girls took cases of muffins, thanks to Manna  to give as Christmas gifts.  

At the request of AES and AMS large food boxes to 9 families with the help of Manna given out. 71 bowls with soup, peanut butter and crackers, candy cane cocoa packet and candy cane in clear wrapping and bows to AMS.  125 treat bags with apple, orange, tangerine, candy bar, gum and Christian ornament to AES and AMS, Kathy Nichols and Robert packed with love. The last week of school every day the food bag ministry supplied take home food and lots of snacks.  2 food boxes to needy family at Tiny Tots.  Gift cards presented to Beth and Joe, our Manna coordinators  They always see that Andrews schools are at the top of the list and even if a special delivery is necessary they get it done.  Muffins to AES family with all boys glad to receive!  We are packing and delivering 142 manna and supplement bags to AMS each week, 104 to AES each week.  We were pleased to be invited and attend our

sister church Second Baptist Christmas program. This emphasis was Kid's Food Bag Ministry, taking us back 20 years ago to its beginning at Second Baptist  They presented us with a huge fruit basket and treat bags.  We are so blessed to partner with Second Baptist, Junaluska, Rowlands Creek, Pisgah, Beaver Creek, Dr. & Mrs. Dale Garlandto feed hungry kids.  Our packers Terry Postell, Dorcas Brooks, James and Margaret Bolick, Bill Huffines, Kathy Nichols and Robert always faithful with a smile and prayer each packing day.  We have given Victoria Ivey a leave of absence until baby Ivey able to join us.
