Thank you for principal's bag  from Dr. Lisa Fletcher at AHS.  Her words: "Knowing I have multiple people praying means more than you will know. Card with Bible verses are the reminder that God does indeed have this situation.  Please let everyone in Operation Help/ Hope know prayers are appreciated and to pray daily."
70 toothbrushes, toothpaste and dental floss to AES for students in need.
Personal hygiene items to AMS thanks to Manna.
Kid's Food Bag Ministry begins Monday, September 14. Since things are different this year, plans are to have 100 Manna bags and 100 supplement bags ready on Mondays for the week's distribution.  Attendance is split for face to face in classroom so custodians can pick up their bags as needed.  Number is "guessestimate" at this time, will adjust as needed. Sister churches and our packers are ready to resume this needed ministry. Thanks to Dorcas Brooks for getting our Sysco order here and the Bolicks for all their help.
Pampering & Prayers Ministry will be "done from afar" since we are not able to go into our room at AMS and meet with the girls.
Text from a P& P girl: "I hope you have been okay during this time. I've been praying about you hope you are well love you"

A couple of our girls promoted to AHS.
Our last Pampering & Prayers meeting was February when we celebrated Virginia Cox's 100th birthday. We were given some of Virginia's jewelry to share with the girls that attended that meeting along with a  picture of the girls with Virginia and a note telling the girl's she prayed for them daily.    Jerry gave us her devotional she used and in that devotional she had a picture of each Pampering & Prayers girl with their name.  Every visit with her she said I pray for them every day. She was Pampering & Prayers Prayer Chairwoman.
Thank you to Nancy Huffines we were able to resume birthday watches to Celie, Anna, Burke's gift certificate to Kyia, and Abigail
45 gift bags to 5th grade girls welcoming them to AMS.
Our counselor at AMS, Susan Guffey, distributes all our gifts. A small gift to Susan thanking her for being "the fragrance of Christ"  at AMS.
Through these challenging times may we minister in Christ's name though Operation Help/Hope Kid's Food Bags and Pampering & Prayers.
Thank you church family for providing a site that meets our needs.
